BHGE’s Conde Factory Supplies Critical First Valves in Chinese Refineries

BHGE is at the forefront of advanced solutions for one of the first privately owned refineries in China. Hengli Petrochemical selected BHGE to supply Masoneilan control and Consolidated safety relief valves for their new 400,000 bpd refinery outside the city of Dalian in Liaoning Province. “A full scope of high performance product offering for these applications, including general service, as well as customized specialty severe service valve solutions for the most demanding applications are what gave BHGE the edge for this type of plant technology”, said Christina Andersen, CEO BHGE Valves. “We put our top teams from around the world to execute this project for our China customers, pulling years of industry experience from our factory in Conde sur Noireau, France, combined with the heavy volume of support from our Kariwa, Japan,and Shuzhou, China facilities to make this a great success.”
The supply of severe service valves includes the most advanced control valve solutions for the first residual hydrocracker refinery unit in China. This milestone for China is supported by many years of focused industry expertise and specialized design from Masoneilan. BHGE builds on years of experience and continues as a partner in the supply of control and pressure relief valve solutions as China develops top technology refineries. BHGE celebrates this landmark project by successfully shipping 1,400+ control valves, 1,800+ pressure relief valves and 1,600+ valve positioners to meet Hengli’s construction schedule, making this a true success with a full scope BHGE valve plant.
